Exciting things are happening in Fremont! Merrill Morris Partners and the City of Fremont kicked off the design of Palm Avenue Community Park with a series of vibrant public events and an online questionnaire.

We connected with hundreds of neighbors at Fremont Street Eats, where community members shared their ideas on everything from park amenities and design style to parking and traffic calming. At our Public Input Meeting, residents got hands-on—adding their visions directly onto park maps. 

The grand finale was during the Summer Concert Series, where we gathered under the open sky for an evening of live music, good vibes, and big ideas, casting votes on what matters most for Fremont’s newest planned park.

Palm Avenue Community Park will transform a 12-acre property in southeast Fremont into a vibrant new public destination. Surrounded by residential neighborhoods and offering panoramic views of the Fremont hills, the future community park is envisioned as a major green space for recreation, wellness, and environmental education.
