Martinez, California 

The new administration building’s landscape design provides pedestrian friendly connections to various buildings within the Martinez downtown governmental core, as well as delineating components of the outdoor spaces. Drought tolerant planting and on-site stormwater treatment meet both sustainable and maintenance goals. 

MMP created the overall landscape design for the bridging documents, which includes all the outdoor spaces, site walls, entry plazas, planting design and state of the art irrigation system design. MMP also created a paving system hierarchy that helps to delineate outdoor spaces such as public entrances, open space, and pedestrian linkages. The project meets Bay Friendly and LEED Compliance.
