Merrill Morris Partners developed the Site Master Plan for adaptive reuse of the historically significant De Martini Winery into the Clayton City Hall. The entry landscape provides a small-scale civic plaza consistent with the cultural character maintained throughout the community. Later phases are to be developed into a three-acre park and a network of trails connecting various facilities to the historic Old Town.

In addition to designing the landscape for the first phase, MMP acted as community liaison for the overall project. Amenities include a fountain court with seating and grape arbor, pedestrian & auto circulation, riparian corridor enhancement, preservation/relocation of ancillary buildings, a creekside walk, and recreational improvements.
