San Francisco, California

Opened for the start of the 2019-20 NBA season, this project boasts a world-class arena and event center anchoring eleven acres of restaurants, cafes, offices, public plazas, and other amenities to activate the site during non- event times. The landscape design connects the public spaces to the larger neighborhood and incorporates an array of sustainability strategies that include bioretention areas designed and coordinated with the team civil engineer for storm water management. The project is designed to a LEED Gold campus certification standard for sustainable design. 

As Associate Landscape Architect for this mixed‐use development, MMP was responsible for landscape site development including construction documentation of various paving and hardscape systems, and the planting and irrigation design of the public spaces. The team also assisted in the creation of design exhibits to support extensive stakeholder meetings.
